Are the recline positions stable and safe?
Every notch locks onto a steel mechanism. Once set, your KLEMIA chair stays put: no sliding, no unwanted tipping, even in position 5. The frame is static load tested to 250 kg.
Does the chenille feel good against skin?
It's one of the softest upholstery fabrics there is — a short-pile velvet, plush but dense. It doesn't scratch, it doesn't pill, and it suits sensitive skin as well as a newborn resting against you.
Can you really sleep in it when reclined?
Yes. Position 5 opens the back-to-leg angle to 145°, near horizontal. It's the notch for afternoon naps and night feeds — it was designed for exactly that.
How do I clean the cover?
Two zips hidden in the back seam release the whole cover. Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, then dry flat. No tumble dryer, no dry cleaning.
